The Entry Form for the next Vets Day at Lakelands on Monday 20th September, 2010, is now available.   Please note that the last event for the year, initially programmed for Royal Pines, will now take place at Robina Woods on 15th November.  Royal Pines has been rescheduled for March 2011.

The 2010 Pennant season started today with matches played at Helensvale and Mt. Tamborine.  The results can be viewed here and also under the District Golf heading above.

With some clubs unable to field a team this year, the Pennant Draw has been modified as well as the Conditions of Play which now include a section on slow play in particular.  Phone contacts of District representatives on the day are also provided.

Golf Queensland has just announced the 2010 state team.   Three members of the Ladies squad are from the Gold Coast District : Ali Orchard from Surfers Paradise, Courtney Massey from Southport and Corinne Swan from Burleigh.    Congratulations to all three and best wishes for the forthcoming matches.  For more details, check out

Fine weather, after a rather chilly start, combined with good course conditions, produced some very good results for the Vets Day held at Southport on Monday, 5th July.

The final round of the championships was played at Arundel Hills Country Club on Monday 28th June and a 3 hole play-off was needed to determine the champion.  Scores for the final results for all divisions and daily results are now available.  The

The modified Draw for the second round of the District Championships to be held at Arundel Hills Country Club on Monday 28th June, 2010, is now available.  Players should note that Arundel Hills provides push buggies and ladies cannot bring their own to the course, however, they can use their own battery-operated buggy.
